Coach Mafa is currently a member on the D2 CCAA Conference Cal State University East Bay Women’s Indoor Volleyball Team.

Before starting her college career, Coach Mafa has acquired many accolades. She played for well-respected club Xceleration and local high school, James Logan located in Union City, CA.

During her time at Logan, she has won many MVAL Championships, made multiple CIF Division 1 appearances, and won the North Coast Section in the Division 1 Championship while playing under Matt Guzman.

After her high school career, she went straight to playing Division 1 Volleyball at San Jose State University. She was the first athlete out of the James Logan Girls Volleyball Program to go straight to Division 1. During her time at SJSU, she played both Indoor and Beach Volleyball.

After two years as a Spartan, she transferred to CSUEB to play alongside her sister, Josephine Tuinauvai, where Coach Mafa now serves as starting OH and Team Captain.

Going into the 2022-2023 club season, Coach Mafa returns for another season head coaching 15 Mafa (National).
